Prairie & Pier isn't an open marketplace. We handpick Texas-based sellers who bring something real — handmade goods, local crafts, artisan food, vintage finds. Tell us about yourself and we'll be in touch.
Apply to Sell →Our shoppers are here specifically for Texas goods. They're not browsing a sea of mass-produced stuff — they want what you make.
Every seller is reviewed. Every seller is capped at 20 listings. That's not a bug — it's what keeps the market worth shopping.
Every sale goes directly to a Texas small business. No middlemen inflating margins, no out-of-state corporations taking the cut.
Fill out the short form telling us who you are and what you sell. No lengthy questionnaires.
We look at what you sell and where you're based. Texas address required — no exceptions. We'll email you within a few business days.
Once approved you'll get account access. List up to 20 active products at a time — keep them good.
Stripe handles payments securely. You handle shipping. We handle the marketplace.
Texas-based sellers only. Your primary business address must have a Texas zip code (starts with 75–79). We verify this as part of the application. Out-of-state sellers are not accepted — even if you sell Texas-themed products.
Handmade goods, artisan crafts, locally produced food and drink (where legally shippable), vintage and antique finds, art, pottery, jewelry, woodworking, leather goods — the list goes on. What we don't accept: mass-produced retail items with no Texas connection, digital products, or anything that requires a special license to ship.
Because a marketplace full of 500-item catalogs stops feeling like a market and starts feeling like a warehouse. The 20-listing cap pushes sellers to put their best work forward. You can swap listings in and out — you're just limited to 20 active at any one time.
No listing fees. Stripe's standard payment processing fees apply to each transaction (typically 2.9% + $0.30). Products must be priced at $5.00 or above — below that, payment processing fees make the transaction unworkable for everyone.
No. We review every application and we do turn some down. It's not personal — it's just that the curated nature of the market is part of the value. If your application isn't a fit right now, we'll tell you why and you're welcome to apply again later.
Usually a few business days. We'll email you either way — no leaving you hanging.
This takes about two minutes. We'll follow up by email.
